Freeman’s Appliance invites skilled individuals to join our team as an Appliance Service Technician! In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the quality installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and accurately repair appliances/equipment, both in our shop and in customers’ homes.
• Provide customers with precise cost estimates for repairs, and handle payment and/or payment information collection for services rendered.
• Undertake additional duties as required, including potential cross-training in related roles.

Qualifications:

• • Possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Proficient in navigating tablet-based technology.
  • While on the job, occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and verbal communication may be required. The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is essential.
  • Solid technical and mechanical skills; experience with appliance installation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance.
  • Ability to move and handle heavy objects daily.
  • A genuine desire to work directly with customers in their homes, educating them on the use of their appliances.
  • Clear, appropriate, and concise communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
