Founded in 1962, Home Appliance has since grown to over 60 employees, including 2 retail locations, a parts & distribution center, as well as install, delivery, and service staff. Position Summary:

Our Service Technician Apprentices are responsible for all aspects of appliance service including proper diagnosis and repair of appliances, inventory management, customer care and pre-screening service calls. The Service Technician Apprentice will report directly to the Service Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

● Creating a great customer experience by offering outstanding customer service while performing accurate and professional repair services.

● Reading parts look ups and ordering proper parts to complete service calls.

● Team player – work with support, sales, and operations staff to ensure that the customer receives the best experience possible.

● Keep up the image – responsible for maintaining clean and orderly service vans to make customer’s first impression a lasting one.

● Inventory management of truck stock.

● Accurate completion of service calls and paperwork.

● Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

● Outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

● Ability to accurately repair most makes and models of appliances.

● Technical background with the ability to problem solve technical issues.

● Detail orientated.

● Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
