Doyon’s Appliance is looking for self motivated appliance service technicians, that can work well with others that have strong customer skills. Must be able to clearly convey what the problem is with the customer’s appliance, and explain what needs to be done to properly repair the appliance. A company vehicle, and phone,  laptop and van router are provided with the position. The employee must provide their own tools, but purchasing assistance is available if necessary, and specialty tools are provided. Looking for someone with experience, but will consider candidates with no experience. No experience starts at the beginning level pay, experienced technicians will achieve the higher pay. The newly hired service technician will be working on, but not limited to, Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, GE, Bosch, Samsung, LG, Viking, Subzero, Wolf, Thermador, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Marvel, U-Line, Summit and many other brands.

We are looking for people that have experience with refrigeration, and have worked on sealed systems. Should be able to read a meter and have knowledge of how to use specialty tools. This knowledge is not required, and we will work with you to train you on the use of these tools.

A service technician’s schedule is made the day before, and when the technician comes in they are expected to load up their van with all the necessary parts that have been ordered for the next day’s repairs. They need to make sure they have all their tools, parts, and paperwork before heading to their service call. Once confirmed they’ve got everything they need, they will call the customer to let them know they’re on their way. Once they’ve completed a service call and received a signature for completion, they will call their next stop and continue on. Once they’ve completed all of their service calls for the day they are to return all parts, there were not used, so that the office can return the parts back to the vendors, or put them back into inventory.
