Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Appliance Repair Technician with a strong physical aptitude to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in diagnosing and repairing various household appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a variety of appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the root cause of appliance malfunctions.
• Provide cost estimates and explain repair options to customers.
• Order and install replacement parts as needed.
• Lift and maneuver heavy appliances as part of the repair process.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in appliance repair.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician.
• Solid understanding of appliance mechanics and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to constantly lift, hold, carry, push or pull up to 20 lbs; frequently lift, carry, push or pull 50 lbs; occasionally lift, carry, push or pull 100 lbs.
• Stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods during repair tasks.
• Manual dexterity and strength to handle tools and equipment.
• Good vision and hand-eye coordination for intricate repair work.
