Mr. Fikser Appliance Repair is hiring a paid appliance repair trainee in Northeast Ohio. Starting pay is $23/hour.

Are you handy, dependable, and good at figuring out how things work? You do not need appliance repair experience. We are willing to train the right person if you have real mechanical ability, take responsibility, and want to learn a skilled trade.

Experience fixing cars, equipment, HVAC, electrical systems, property-maintenance problems, or your own projects is useful, even if it was not your formal job.

What you’ll learn

• How to diagnose and repair major residential appliances
• How to use meters, tools, wiring diagrams, and service information
• How to identify parts and document service calls
• How to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers
• How to move from supervised work to handling calls independently

What we’re looking for

• Someone who is genuinely handy and likes solving mechanical problems
• Reliable attendance and a willingness to learn
• Good judgment and respectful communication in customers’ homes
• A valid driver’s license
• A reliable work truck by the time you begin handling calls independently

Pay and job details

• Starting pay: $23/hour
• Paid, hands-on training
• Performance bonus opportunity as you develop
• W-2 position
• Mainly weekday work, with Sunday work available
• Truck allowance and weekly gas allowance
