Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues accurately by interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams
• Repair and service various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers and other household or commercial equipment
• Use mechanical knowledge to disassemble, assemble, troubleshoot, and replace faulty components
• Conduct refrigeration repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of cooling systems
• Operate a company vehicle to travel to customer locations safely and efficiently for on-site repairs
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
• Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed and parts used in accordance with company standards

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair or related field service roles
• Strong electrical experience with the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics accurately
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and assembly
• Delivery driver experience preferred for navigating routes efficiently while maintaining safety standards
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and electrical troubleshooting techniques is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
