Appliance Repair Technician

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25–$40 per hour (based on experience) Usually hourly plus commission. 

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of residential appliances while delivering exceptional customer service. If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and helping customers, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential appliances, including:
  • Refrigerators
  • Washers and dryers
  • Dishwashers
  • Ovens, ranges, and cooktops
  • Microwaves
  • Garbage disposals
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Install replacement parts and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
• Communicate repair recommendations and estimates with customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and company equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous appliance repair experience preferred (2+ years ideal).
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• EPA certification is a plus (for sealed refrigeration systems).
• Experience with major brands such as Whirlpool, GE, LG, Frigidaire, Bosch, Thermador, KitchenAid, and more.

Schedule
