Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Appliance Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of household and specialty appliances. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair major household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, etc.)
• Install standard and specialty appliances (built-in dishwashers, wall ovens, cooktops, ventilation hoods, etc.)
• Perform in-home and/or in-shop service calls
• Ensure proper installation, leveling, venting, and connections (water, gas, electric)
• Accurately document repairs, installs, parts used, and service details
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and usage
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment
• Assist with delivery teams when needed for complex installs
• Ensure all work meets safety, manufacturer, and code requirements

Requirements:

• Previous appliance repair/service experience REQUIRED
• Experience installing built-in or specialty appliances strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, gas, and refrigeration systems
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy appliances (50–100 lbs)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple appliance brands
• Familiarity with cabinet fitment and built-in installations
• Basic computer or mobile app skills for service reporting
• Ability to pass a background test and drug screening
