We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with a focus on appliance repair and customer service. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances in a field service capacity. Your role will involve working independently while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
• Perform repairs on various appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
• Assemble and install new appliances as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Operate a box truck for delivery and transportation of appliances to job sites.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in customers’ homes or businesses.

Requirements

• Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and tools used in the industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated on appliance technology advancements.

  Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (could change if experienced)
