Hi, my name is Renae, and I'm an appliance repair tech. If you ever need service on your appliance, it's going to be really important that you know what your model number is. Today I'm going to show you the most common places that you can find your model serial stickers on different appliances.

On a range, the most common place to find the serial sticker is going to be inside the drawer. Once you open the drawer, you can usually find it on the right or on the left. So manufacturers will also hide inside the door. Usually, it's going to be along one of the edges here or sometimes up and underneath. Most dishwashers have their model sticker located somewhere on the door or around the edge. So usually it's along the edge here or the top, maybe the other side or otherwise it's going to be on the edge inside here that borders the door.

Most fridges have their model stickers located on the inside wall of the fridge compartment. Countertop microwaves like mine usually have their model sticker on the back and over the range microwaves usually have it along the border of the door here. Most often with washing

Most top load washing machines have their model sticker located under the lid. Sometimes it's on the lid itself. Sometimes it's on the control panel. Usually, if that's the case, it's either going to be here or sometimes in the back. Front load washing machines, usually have it on the door or on the part of the washing machine where the door meets the body of the washer. And dryers pretty much always have it somewhere along the door as well.
